The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Health & Sanitation has received a grant from the World Bank (WB) for the implementation of the Health Service Delivery & System Support Project – Trust Fund, to strengthen the Health Service Delivery in Sierra Leone. Part of the proceeds of the grant will be used to finance the cost of the procurement of Library Text Books for the School of Clinical Sciences in Makeni. The Project executing agency, the Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit (IHPAU) of the Ministry of Health & Sanitation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of:

Library Text Books for Medical Students 5,572 Items 8  – 10 Weeks

Foreign bidders are eligible to participate. No domestic preference shall be given to domestic bidders. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the address shown below: Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the National Public Procurement Act 2004 and the Regulation of 2006 (revised in 2016) and is open to all eligible and interested bidders who can demonstrate a track record of supplying such items. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address given below, and may inspect the bidding documents during office hours: 0900 to 1700hours GMT at the address given below. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Le: 200,000. The method of payment will be by direct deposit to the following bank account:

Sealed bids must be delivered to the address shown below on/or before June 9th, 2017, at 14:00 hrs GMT. All bids must be submitted with the following:
•       Valid Business Registration Certificates
•       Valid NASSIT Clearance Certificate
•       Valid NRA Clearance Certificate
•       Audited Financial Statement for the past three previous
•       Brochures of Goods Offered

Foreign firms should submit valid NRA Tax and NASSIT Clearance Certificates equivalent, if applicable in their country. Bids must be delivered to the address below, on/or before the 9th June, 2017 at 14:00 GMT.Electronic bidding will not be permitted.Late bids will be rejected and will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below, on the 9th June, 2017 immediately after the closing of the bids.   All interested bidders are invited for a Pre-Bid meeting to be held on Wednesday, the 24th May, 2017 starting at 10:00 GMT. The meeting shall be held in the Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit Conference Room situated at the address indicated below. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Leones: 10,000,000 (Ten Million Leones) equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
